Officially Addicted

Ok so its offical. I am a knit a holic. I started off making a scarf
,then I moved on to harder projects. Well for me atleast lol. Now I have made my first pair of fingerless gloves & I am now hooked on them. I have tons of things I want to create. First it started off with a scarf now its everything lol..

Learned to Knit

After many many years of waiting to learn how to knit I have done it. The last month or so I have been knitting- a scarf to start.Isnt he cute Mr. Purple Hippo.Got him when my lil one was a tot her first trip to the zoo. Love him. Anyhow I am now ready to tackle the big stuff hopefully lol..

My 2 passions

I have been lately bringing my 2 passions to my work. I have been scrapbooking for the last 15 yrs. I have been candle making for the last 6yrs. So I decided to bring the 2 crafts together as a result. I have made samples for the spotted box. Here is what you get from me that is in the May spotted box.

TAFF: A special subject for me..

For those of you that dont know. Last Aug I was diagnosed with a Brain AVM. Surgery was done Dec 4th,2007. This Dec marked one yr since then. I am very blessed to be here every day. It has changed my whole world knowing that in a heart beat my world could have come to an end. I made my peace and had the removal with miniumal side affects. The reason I bring this up is next month is the TAFF walk and I wont be physically capable of going this year due to some health issues I am stilll working out. But I want to share their website and information on the subject. Maybe someone else may benfit from this information.TAAF: Arteriovenous Malformation

Those that have suffered from this can look as healthy as I do on the outside but struggle daily as I do. With the miniumal health issues it is still hard to maintain a normal life. I would love to do everything like I used to. I can clean the house and my heart races ,the heat and me well we just dont agree anymore. I have servere headaches and with this I take pills that could knock out a horse..lol..I also suffer from insomia due to the pain. I do suffer from memory loss issues as well as being unable to retain alot of memory.But for me these are the minor side affects. There are people who have this and have worse than me.

I thought I would share so that all would be aware of how life can change in a heartbeat. I didnt know I had an AVM and it was there all my life. I am truly blessed with a loving family & friends who have stuck by me this last horrid year. I thank them.
I know that I couldve be worse off and for this I am truly blessed.
